Reaction Monday: Jim Kelly, Bills secondary, INTs

With the Buffalo Bills second win of the season over the Denver Broncos, there was a lot that caught my mind before, during and after the game. As well as something to look at with Quarterbacks.

Boos: The boos by the fans were not surprising. There are a lot of opinions on this issue. I’m not here to trash the players that kneeled or the fans that booed. But to respect that everyone has thier opinions and everyone has thier rights, as long as it’s done peacefully.

Jim Kelly: The Hall Of Fame quarterback posted a photo on Instagram last night, saying he hopes the Bills stand, lock arms and become one family.

Then this morning on 97 rock, this is what Kelly had to say: “If you don’t think our country is good enough, then leave! Go somewhere else.”

On McCoy: “I like LeSean McCoy, don’t get me wrong, but I totally, 100 percent I disagree with what he did,” JK said. “You want to kneel? Fine. But when you go and do what he did yesterday, that sort of bummed me out. And I lost a lot of respect for him. And you know what? I’m a Buffalo Bill from start to finish. But when people start doing that, that’s where I draw the line. You want to kneel? That’s your prerogative. I would never do that. I will always stand, thank the good lord for everything I got. But when you disrespect the way he did and just go by his everyday duty in the national anthem being sung? Uh-uh. I won’t go for that. I’m just so bummed out right now. We won. I’m so happy. When I left the stadium, there was a guy selling LeSean McCoy’s jersey. He goes, ‘I’m getting five bucks for it!’ And nobody was buying. And I’m like, ‘C’mon Shady.’ That’s not right. You just don’t do that. But that’s my personal opinion.”

This is interesting, I know Kelly is very passionate, but I didn’t know he would’ve went this in depth. A lot of fans, once again have taken a stance with Kelly and against him. Like I said, everyone has thier opinions, Mr. Kelly expressed his.

Bills secondary: What a difference a year makes. In personnel and scheme. With all due respect to Corey Graham And Aaron Williams, maybe they weren’t a fit for Rex’s scheme( although Aaron was hurt), but there’s a lot that’s different with Hyde and Poyer. They swarm, they knock balls down. White and Gaines have been solid as well. White had an uneasy first half but bounced back, and teams might not want to throw against Gaines.

Interceptions: A lot of quarterbacks threw picks yesterday. Most of them came in threes.

3ints: Kizer, Winston, Rivers, Ryan

2ints: Siemian, Carr, Watson, Manning
