The Buffalo Bills try to bolster thier receiving core.

They sign former Bears receiver Deonte Thompson. To make room, the Bills release running back Joe Banyard.

Thompson for Chicago this season had 11 catches for 125 yards and a score. Last season, he had 22 catches for 249 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Thompson comes to Buffalo with more catches than any Bills receiver has currently.

Thompson has speed: 4.23-40 time. He can create separation. The question of course is chemistry and familiarity with quarterback Tyrod Taylor.
