The Buffalo Sabres get thier 2nd win of the season with a comeback win in Boston by a score of 5-4 in overtime.

Here’s this games stock up, stock down.

Stock up

Comeback kids

Down 4-1, you would think this team would be dead in the water. They proved me wrong. Eichel, Pouliot and Kane with the three Buffalo goals to make the score 4-4. Then a great onetime period by the Sabres. Relentless aggression. Hopefully this will start to turn things around to an awful start.

Okposo- Pouliot

What a difference a night makes. They both were benched at the start of the third period last night. Tonight, a total 180. Love Okposo’s game, better skating and defense. Pouliot had his best game as a Sabre. Crashing the net, making better passes and flat out being aggressive.

Lehner keeps them in

A shaky start by the goaltender, but had some nice saves as the comeback was happening. A lot of fans get on this goalie, but he was a solid contributor tonight.

Start

Brutal start. I said to myself, this is going to be a long, long night. This can’t keep happening. This is the second time this week coming down from three goals. This team needs to hit the ice to start games more prepared than they have been.

Same scorers

Some fans might not care that the same players are constantly scoring, but to me it’s concerning. Pominville, Eichel, Kane again scoring. Reason being is that these guys will get into a slump, then where will the scoring come from? O’Reilly scored three goals this week, that’s encouraging. Can Pouliot get something going? I’m skeptical.
