The New England Patriots face a set back on defense as one of their best players is hurt.
Ben Volin of Boston Globe reports linebacker Donta Hightower is out for the rest of the season with a torn pectoral muscle.
“According to a league source, Donta Hightower has a torn pectoral muscle and is out for the year. Big loss for the Patriots.”
Hightower is a do everything type linebacker and the Patriots defense started to turn the corner the past couple weeks.
