On ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown, NFL insider Adam Schefter said that Bills wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin had suffered a torn meniscus. Schefter never tweeted it out after his appearance.

This afternoon, head coach Sean McDermott said Benjamin was day to day and denied the Schefter report.

About an hour after McDermott’s press conference, the Bills did confirm that Benjamin does have a torn meniscus. Apparently McDermott didn’t understand the question.

The Bills acquired Benjamin back on October 31st from the Carolina Panthers. He has 4 catches for 62 yards.
