The Sabres power play, once number one in all of hockey, is now ranked 30th and struggling mightily.

Phil Housley is switching things up.

“We’ve got to do some hard looking at it,” the Sabres coach said.

Buffalo’s powerplay the last 6 games they are 0-15. Was once a strong component of this team is now a dreaded weakness

Here are the powerplay units at practice today:

Kane-Eichel-Reinhart, Antipin-Beaulieu.

Moulson-Pominville-Okposo, O’Reilly-Ristolainen.

Matt Mouslon, mostly a healthy scratch had no goals at a $5 million dollar cap hit. Housley is trying to get his game going.

Whoever is out there on the powerplay, the Sabres need to get more traffic in front of goaltenders. They’re making it way too easy for goalies such as Carey Price on Saturday.
