Listening to the audio of Colts coach Chuck Pagano’s press conference, he was asked how Indianapolis will handle preparations for ethier Tyrod Taylor or Nathan Peterman at quarterback.
Taylor has a knee injury which resulted in Peterman getting 1st team reps in Wednesday’s practice.
Pagano said they are treating preparations for Sunday’s game as if Tyrod will be starting, but they have something for Peterman as well.
Pagano said this about preparing for whoever is at quarterback as well as praise for Tyrod:
“We’ve had to do this before, we”lol do our due diligence on both guys. Obviously we know Tyrod well having been with him in Baltimore and faced him in the past. What a special player he is and a rare talent and how he can beat you with his arm and his legs and all those types of things. We played Russell Wilson earlier in the year and this guy extends plays as well as anybody and throwing on the run and finding his receivers and extended plays. It makes it very difficult. We’ve put our POA together and we’ve got Peterman’s tape out there. We’ll study it and prepare for both guys and adjust the plan based on how the week goes.”
The Colts come to Buffalo for a 1pm kickoff Sunday at New Era Field.
