The Buffalo Sabres were shutout by the Boston Bruins tonight.
Their coach Bruce Cassidy had this to say:
“In the third, on the road, in a back-to-back, usually a team’s going to have a push and, I don’t want to be disrespectful, I don’t know if they had a true sustained push.”
Cassidy said the Sabres had some push late, but felt his team had the better of chances in the 3rd. He said one push the Sabres did have was a shorthanded rush early in the final frame.
Harsh reality from a opponents coach?
