The Buffalo Sabres take on the Winnipeg Jets tonight from KeyBank Center.
Former Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers, who was traded to Winnipeg in the Evander Kane trade, is back in Buffalo for the first time.
“It’ll be fun, first game back since the trade.”
The former Calder trophy winner had nothing but good things to say about Buffalo.
Myers: “There are a lot of good memories. It was a fun city to play in, we had a really good group of guys, there aren’t that many there anymore, but it was fun, I really enjoyed my time there.”
This is also the first game back for Dmitry Kulikov. He played last year with the Sabres and had a very uncomfortable season. Many have said he didn’t like it here.
