The Buffalo Sabres announced that defenseman Zach Bogosian will be out for the rest of the season, he will be having hip surgery next week.
Bogosian played 18 games this season after missing the first couple months with a lower body injury.
This has been a common theme for Bogosian since he arrived in Buffalo. In 4 seasons with Buffalo, Bogosian’s highest games played is 64.
He still has two years left on his contract at a $5.1 cap hit.
