We have a deal.
According to Bob McKenzie of TSN, the Buffalo Sabres have traded Evander Kane to the San Jose Sharks for a conditional 1st round pick, a 2020 4th round pick and prospect Dan O’Reagan.
Pierre Lebrun reports the 1st round pick is a 2019.

Kane played three seasons in Buffalo, he scored 68 goals and had 118 points in 196 games.
Dan O’Reagan is a 2012 5th round pick from Boston University. He has played in 22 NHL games, collecting 5 points.
The question is, will he be up playing, or down to help Rochester?
There’s a wrinkle here from LeBrun
Kane has to resign with the Sharks to get the 2019 1st round pick. If he doesn’t, it becomes a 2nd.
Here's the condition of the first-round 2019 pick in the Evander Kane deal: if the Sharks re-sign Kane, it's a first; but if Kane walks into free agency, it's a second-round pick in 2019
