We have seen teams release players because they won’t redo their contract to benefit the team.
Well it seems like Richie Incognito did that with the Bills to remain with the team, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Bills G Richie Incognito redid the last year of his contract to remain with the team, source says. Sides talked it over recently and got it done.

Incognito is entering the final year of his contract and while his play is still strong, you have to figure at his age the Bills wanted to get something done and restructure it.
Incognito had a $7.575 cap hit in 2018.
No years added onto the contract.
