Report: Casey Mittelstadt is signing with the Sabres

The Sabres are signing their 2017 1st round draft pick.

Bob McKenzie of TSN is reporting that the Buffalo Sabres and Casey Mittelstadt have agreed to terms on an entry-level deal.

He is expected to join the Sabres roster later this week.

It was said on HNIC Saturday that Mittelstadt would come to a decision within a few days.

In 34 games with the University of Minnesota, Mittelstadt had 30 points.
