With the Bisons playing tonight and the BlueJays playing a double header, they needed some starting insurance.
Joe Biagini has been recalled from the Buffalo Bisons and will start game two of the double header for Toronto.
Biagini in three starts this season is 0-2 with a 5.17 era.
Relief pitcher Danny Barnes was sent down to the Herd. In 13 innings for Toronto, Barnes is posting a 1.98 era.
