We all know Belichick compliments the opponent every week, but when talking about Josh Allen, he went into detail.
On his weekly appearance on WEEI, the Patriots head coach said this:
“We knew he was declared out of our game but we saw him in other games as we prepared for the rest of the team,” Belichick said on his weekly WEEI radio appearance. “He’s a very athletic guy. He can make all the throws. He has an excellent arm. He’s very mobile in the pocket.”
“They’re different than they were eight weeks ago when we played them,” Belichick said. “He’s done a great job of coming in and changing the type of offense they ran when we saw them in the quarterback period we saw them in. They have much more scrambles, more loose plays more deep balls and still a good solid running game. They’ve been very explosive offensively.”
