Bills sign Derek Anderson to a one-year deal

By Brandon J. Koch

The Buffalo Bills have resigned their 3rd string and mentor quarterback Derek Anderson to a one-year deal, the team announced.

Anderson, signed in the middle of the season, started 2 games in 2018 and threw for 465 yards and was picked off 4 times.

During the Monday night game against the Patriots, Anderson suffered a concussion and was in protocol for several weeks.

This is certainly a mentor, leadership signing, he’s now familiar with the team and was a nice asset for Josh Allen.
