The Buffalo Sabres and defenseman Jake McCabe agree to a two-year deal worth $5.7 million, avoiding arbitration.
The two sides submitted arbitration filings yesterday and were far apart.
Buffalo’s offer was $1.95 million, McCabe’s ask was $4.3 million.
McCabe had 14 points in 59 games last season.
With the new additions on the blue line, it will be interesting where McCabe fits.
