With the season opener just two days away, the Buffalo Sabres had to set thier roster by 5pm today.
The team put Evan Rodrigues and Justin Faulk on IR.
Buffalo used the full 23 player roster limit.
Forwards: Evander Kane, Jack Eichel, Jason Pominville, Kyle Okposo, Ryan O’Reilly, Benoit Pouliot, Zemgus Girgensons, Sam Reinhart, Seth Griffith, Johan Larsson, Jacob Josefson, Jordan Nolan, Matt Moulson- total 13
Defense: Rasmus Ristolainen, Nathan Beaulieu, Jake McCabe, Victor Antipin, Marco Scandella, Zach Bogosian, Josh Gorges, Matt Tennyson- total 8
Goalies: Robin Lehner, Chad Johnson- total 2
I know it will certainly change when players start getting healthy. Having 8 defensemen is a lot, I expect maybe Bogosian not being able to go Thursday.
