Buffalo Sabres center Ryan O’Reilly sat down with TSN’s Darren Dreger on “The Dreger Cafe.”
They talked about O’Reilly being on team Canada and getting back that winning edge and being competitive. Dreger asked ROR about his comments on locker cleanout day.
O’Reilly said he’s the player who plays the most minutes and that it’s his fault. He needs to step up and be a leader on and off the ice. O’Reilly added that he needs to be competitive all the time and it starts at training camp.
The 27-year-old said he loves Buffalo and wants to there, he knows that the team will be good and start winning very soon.
He was asked about the speculation of being traded: O’Reilly said if it happens, it happens, that’s hockey. But added again how much he wants to be part of the answer in Buffalo
